Back when I did Katie and Tyler's engagement photos (which were GORGEOUS by the way, you can see them here) I knew their wedding was going to be deeply personal and loads of fun! This past weekend, they proved me right.
They chose the beautiful venue of Cedar Grove Acres, located about 20 minutes away from Wake Forest in Creedmoor, North Carolina. An absolute perfect location with old barns, fields with cows in them, a fire pit, and so much more! Katie was able to stay in the bridal suite with her girls and get ready while Tyler hung out with his guys down the hill and played foosball while he waited for the ceremony. The couple had over 180 guests, which was a testament to how loving and awesome these two are. Katie did a first look with her Dad and gave her Mom part of her bridal bouquet. During the ceremony, they tied a Cord of Three Strands, braiding together rope to symbolize the joining of two people and God into a marriage. The flowers from Southern Petals were absolutely stunning, with white, red, and pops of black and green. There were giant hugs, happy tears, and even a few dances during the reception! I had some photog help from my friend Cindy and together we were able to capture some gorgeous images!
Katie and Tyler, congratulations on your marriage! I am soooo happy for the two of you, and even more excited with how incredibly happy and in love you both are for each other. It was such a pleasure getting to know you and your family, and I'm really looking forward to the day when I get to come back and take family pictures! ;)
