Rose Trail Images 2025 Favorite Photo Roundup

Another year has come and gone... but HOW??!!??? Everytime i say that time is going by fast, I feel so old... but for reals, last year seemed to just fly by. Even my teens said the same thing, so it has to be true. I can't be that old... right???!!???

Anywho, I absolutely love my job, being a Raleigh wedding and mitzvah photographer and Rolesville and Wake Forest family photographer. You know this, and I know this. But I'm not going to list out how many weddings i photographed, how many mitzvah celebrations i attended, or how many portrait sessions I did this year. I'm too tired. and i don't want to be like everyone else. And to be honest... the numbers are sadder than years prior. Maybe I didn't market myself enough. Maybe people just don't want photos like they used to. maybe it was the economy... it was a pretty banger year... 🤦🏻‍♀️ whatever the case may be, it was definitely slower.

But I'm ok with that.

The slower year made more room for these types of 2025 wrapped numbers...

  • 9 - visits with family, whether here in north carolina, in maryland, or in myrtle beach and hilton head

  • 4 - mountain getaways with the hubs, including Virginia for a 100 mile race (his, not mine) and exploring all over western North Carolina

  • 4 - big vacations, including New Hampshire, Napa, Disney and Boston

  • 26 - lunches, dinners, and fantabulous awesomeness with amazing friends!!!

  • 6 - movies or plays we saw, including Book of mormon, the nutcracker, and zootopia 2... love that fox!

  • 5 - how many times we went to my absolute favorite restaurant, amalia's

  • 12 - counseling sessions, mental health is important y'all 🤪

  • 6 - new plants bought or propagated. If you know, you know.

  • countless date nights with my love and game nights with the kiddos!

As always though... i couldn't help but share my favorite photos from each session i took last year. looking through them all makes me realize just how truly lucky i am to have this amazing job, and I am SOOOOOOOOO incredibly grateful!!!!!

Especially when I get reviews like this...

I am truly lucky. Here's hoping that 2026 is just as good, because if so... i'm one extremely lucky girl ❤️
