Well, I told you all it was a double header weekend for me… and that both engagement sessions took place at the gorgeous Raleigh Rose Garden…
So, time to share the awesomeness that is Matt and Kat!

This couple… oh my goodness, we had SO MUCH FUN! They pretty much went with everything I told them to do, including pretending to walk home after closing the bar down for the night. Yes, that’s right… I told them to act drunk. And they performed it magically. The sun was perfection, the roses were in full bloom, and we laughed our butts off. Absolute perfection.
Matt and Kat have a unique and amazing relationship, one that I truly admire. They are real and honest with each other, they are themselves with each other, and you can tell they love each other FIERCELY. They are definitely the ying to each other’s yang, and I loved getting to know them. We met up over dinner and beers one night to talk about their wedding and ended up talking about our mutual love of hockey and how normal is boring. I knew they were my kind of peeps.
Their wedding this Sunday will be one for the books! I’m excited to go to the Forest Hall at Chatham Mills for the first time and capture the awesomeness that will be Kat and Matt’s wedding. But in the meantime… take a look at how ridiculously cute they are. Because for reals… these pictures make my heart happy. And they make my heart happy. EEEEEK!
