RALEIGH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER | JC RAULSTON ARBORETUM | TRACI & JERAMIE

Y’all. SO MANY BLOGS TO SHARE. I have been so incredibly late to the game, so get ready for a blog dump. Starting with this amazing couple whom I just ADORE!!!

Traci and Jeramie

This beautiful couple is Traci and Jeramie. They were married on October 5, 2019… see, I TOLD you I was backed up on blogs! I have been photographing their family since their sweet daughter Zoe turned one, about 4 years ago. FOUR YEARS AGO!!! Now they have 2 sweet kiddos who are just the cutest! Two falls ago, they signed up for a mini session and when they showed up, I saw they were ENGAGED!!!!! It turned into a mini family/engagement session and it was amazing!

The wedding ceremony took place at the JC Raulston Arboretum. It was an absolutely lovely outdoor ceremony on the terrace, which is lush with greenery at ANY time of the year, but especially in the fall. Just before the leaves start cycling into the autumn palette, summertime holds on tight and serves us a few more solid weekends of gorgeous weather. The rich floral designs by Purple Poppy Florist were a poetic and understated nod to the upcoming season.

But what made this wedding extra special was the tight knit and laid back atmosphere. About 50 of the couple’s closest friends and family gathered for the ceremony, while Jeramie’s own dad officiated! Traci’s sister, Theadora, was her Maid of Honor and the flower girls were Zoe and Noel, Traci’s niece.

After the ceremony, everyone went downtown to The Architect Bar And Social House for food (barbeque!) by Empire Eats Catering and music from DJ Mass Appeal. The kids were the stars of the dance floor at this event! So. Much. Energy. Overall it was a really relaxed day focused on spending quality time with friends and family. A good time was had by all.

Congratulations, Traci and Jeramie! Thank you for letting me be such a big part in your special day… and for letting me continue to be a part of your everyday lives with family sessions!!
