YOUNGSVILLE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER | CROSS AND MAIN | STEPHANIE AND ANDY

andy and stephanie

In my line of work, you meet lots of people... older, younger, some hours old and some on their last stages. Families, Weddings, Newborns, Mitzvahs, you name it and I love it. But this particular wedding... and these particular people... have made a definitive imprint on my life!

When I met up with Andy and Stephanie, I was blown away with the way they feel about each other. The Eskimos have 96 separate words that all mean love... and if there's one that is of the highest form, than this couple would be that. Both have been married before and both came with multiple kiddos, some younger and some with even their own kiddos! But being in their presence, you felt like they had been together their whole lives. They were MEANT for each other, and not in the cliche way you always hear about. They were truly, TRULY made to be together on Earth at this time in their lives. Everything happens for a reason, or so I like to think, and it's no coincidence  that these two found each other when they did. We did their engagement session together with their five younger kiddos and it was just even MORE apparent how perfect they are for one another. In fact, click here to see see all that engagement awesomeness!

wedding day

On Saturday, April 7th 2018, I went to Cross + Main, a gorgeous event venue in the heart of Youngsville, NC featuring old wooden beams, exposed brick, and old Southern charm. It was a gloomy, rainy (almost snowy!) day, but you'd never know it when you got inside! In the bridal suite, I wasn't surprised at ALL to find an absolutely gorgeous bouquet sent specifically to his bride from Andy, along with a sweet note and a knot bracelet, a symbol that is very special to the both of them. We did detail pictures that included stationary, rings, and the most GORGEOUS flowers from Brandi's Botanicals, located right across the street from Cross + Main. When it was time for the ceremony, the bride and groom were escorted by family, all 7 kiddos and the 2 grandkiddos, and were married under a beautiful archway handmade by Andy himself. The colors of ivory, blush and navy were perfect against the beautiful old bricks of the building. It was perfection.

Afterwards, the party was started by DJ Alan Norwood who did a fabulous job running the tunes all night! Catering was done by Cannon Catering, and their food was delicious!!  We did some dancing, their were toasts made by many, there was a garter and flower toss thrown in there somewhere, as well as a makeshift photo booth! But most importantly... Stephanie and Andy were married. And it was glorious!

Congratulations you guys, may you have many many more happy and wonderful years growing old together!
