happy birthday, desmond!
Cake Smashes. I told you I had more to share!!! This one was especially awesome... it was done at home, on his birthday!!! Cristine, Patrick, and little Desmond had just moved to the area from the DC Metro area and wanted a cake smash session for Desmond. We had grand plans of going to a park and having beautiful shots outside... until the day came and it was gray and dreary. And rain. Lots of rain.
You know what though?? Doing Desmond's cake smash at home was AWESOME. It was personal. And homey. And all around fun! We played with his giraffe, he opened up some presents, we sang happy birthday, and Desmond made a complete MESS. And it was wonderfully cute and deliciously unique. And added bonus... Grandma was in town!!
I wish I had MORE at-home cake smashes!! (wink wink)
