happy independence day, my friends!!
Hopefully this week you'll have yourself a big slice of friends, family, BBQ, and sparklers! I'm currently in Hilton Head visiting family for the holiday, like we do almost every year, taking some time to play and get some work done away from the daily chaos. I'm also remembering back a couple of years ago when on the fourth, a very special little lady was born... Emerson!! And while I'd love to show you her newborn session and her parents' maternity session, sadly they were written on a blog site that doesn't exist anymore (insert sad face here).
The good news is, is that this year marks her second birthday and I still have pictures from her cake smash last year to share with you!

We started off the session with Emerson sitting around some props that were left from her parents wedding... I mean, come on, how gosh darn cute is THAT??!! We ended it though with a special tribute to her birthday date. I cannot WAIT to do her two year pictures coming up soon!
