Meet Ashley, Spencer, and Eva, the cutest family of three I'm sure you've seen in a loooooong time. For reals! I met this family back in December when we got together at Horseshoe Nature Park for a mini session at sunset, my most favorite time for pictures EVER!!! But, that's for another story...
Ashley found me through her friend Lori, whose wedding I'm photographing in about, oh... 3 and a half weeks. We met up at Horseshoe just as the sun was setting behind the trees, with the last of the fall colors still holding on for dear life. It was gorgeous!

Let me tell you something... this session is one of the main reasons I love my job SOOOOOO DAMN MUCH!!!!
Beautiful scenery... check!
Gorgeous sunset lighting... check!
A happy family that loves being and interacting with each other... DOUBLE CHECK!
But... the other factor that I loved, is that it was REAL LIFE. Poor Eva... this little babe was sooo not happy for most of the 20 minutes. She was tired, cranky, and upset. And you know what? I loved every second of it. Not only was I still able to capture the smiles in between, but I was able to capture life true to what they know. This is their life at this EXACT moment in time. It's not all smiles, hugs, and laughter. It's not made of poses and awkward moments. It's made of true emotions and lots of love, in all it's forms.
